Program

 

The Wind on Water Festival is back for 2019 and will encompass everything we love about Geraldton! Think perfect weather, amazing family activities on our beautiful Foreshore, fireworks, plus the addition of some very exciting installments from The Temper Trap, TKAY Maidza, Spare Parts Puppet Theatre and Ultimate Watersports.

We're still developing the program, but here's a look at what's locked in so far. 


WoW Fest Concert presented by RedFM
21 April | Stow Gardens, Geraldton Foreshore

WoW Fest will conclude in a massive beachside concert featuring The Temper Trap, Tkay Maidza plus some local bands! This all ages ticketed event is just $30pp and has a licensed and VIP. Get ready Geraldton, this is going to be bucketloads of fun and good vibes.

High Speed Water Show with Ultimate Watersports
20-21 April | Geraldton Foreshore

Featuring locally owned company, Ultimate Water Sports, this event will offer a variety of high speed water shows featuring jetpacks and fly boards. On Saturday night as part of the Sunset Entertainment there will be two night shows with LED suits - they're sure to thrill and excite!

Giant Sand Sculpture presented by Sun City Solar
20-21 April | Geraldton Foreshore

Sand sculpture guru Tim Darby will be creating a sculpture highlighting some of Geraldton’s icons. He will be pounding the sand and showing locals how it is done.

Sunset Entertainment with Euphorium Creative presented by the Geraldton Guardian
21 April | Geraldton Foreshore

A number of local musicians and entertainers will perform on the beach as part of Sunset Entertainment. Performing to the light of fire drums this will be a great chance to soak up the atmosphere with a picnic on the beach whilst taking in some tunes and watch the Ultimate Water Sports Night Show.

Kite Flying Workshops & Display

Enjoy the sights of massive sea-themed kites take over the Geraldton Foreshore. They were a delight in the air last year and we expect them to be just as good, if not better!
