The Great White Shark Project presented by GRAG
19-22 April | 10.30am-12.30pm & 1pm-3pm | Marine Tce

GRAG will bring the Rocks building alive with Award Winning Artist Ross Potter to deliver a free community graphite-sketching workshop. Participants will each contribute to a large scale temporary art work featuring a Great White Shark.

String Symphony presented by Mid West Ports Authority
21-22 April | 2.00pm-7.45pm | Geraldton Foreshore

String Symphony is a large-scale, interactive performance installation that uses puppetry to explore connection, community and collaboration. The giant hand-woven puppet comes to life when twelve strangers each take a string and choose to work together. This joyful, engaging and visual stunning work appeals to all-ages.

WoW Fest Concert presented by RedFM
22 April | 5pm-9.30pm | Stow Gardens, Geraldton Foreshore

WoW Fest will conclude in a massive beachside concert featuring the winner of the WoW Factor, San Cisco and The Veronicas located on the Stage & Stow Gardens on the Foreshore.  An all ages ticketed event ($25pp) with a licensed area will see Stow Gardens transformed like it has never been before.

High Speed Water Show with Ultimate Watersports
21-22 April | 1.00pm-1.20pm, 7.00pm-7.20pm & 7.40pm-8.00pm | Geraldton Foreshore

Featuring locally owned company, Ultimate Water Sports, this event will offer four x 20minute high speed water shows featuring their jetpack and fly board.  On Saturday night as part of Sunset Entertainment two night shows with LED suits will be sure to excite the crowds.

Giant Sand Sculpture presented by Sun City Solar
22 April | 10.00am-2.00pm | Geraldton Foreshore

Sand sculpture guru Tim Darby will be creating a sculpture highlighting some of Geraldton’s icons including the Lighthouse. Over four days, he will be pounding the sand and showing locals how it is done. Tim will also present a master class on 22 April showing how to perfect your sand sculptures.

Sunset Entertainment with Euphorium Creative presented by the Geraldton Guardian
21 April | 6.00pm-9.00pm | Geraldton Foreshore

A number of local musicians will perform on the beach as part of Sunset Entertainment. Performing to the light of fire drums this will be a great chance to soak up the atmosphere with a picnic on the beach whilst taking in some tunes and watch the Ultimate Water Sports Night Show.

Kite Flying Workshops & Display presented by ACDC
14 April | 10.00am-12.00pm & 1pm-3pm | ACDC, Marine Tce

In addition to the community kites made at workshops the weekend prior, four giant kites will be flown at Town Beach for the duration of the festival. Hand crafted by Peter Lynn, an engineer and kite craftsman of over 55 years, these water themed kites will be sure to create a stir in the sky.

Air Formation presented by Club Formation

Don’t forget to look up! Club Formation will wake up the crowd at 10am on Sunday morning with 3-5 planes flying in formation over the water.

TUG Boat Display
22 April | 10.15am-10.30am | Geraldton Foreshore

Midwest Port Authority will be showing off in the ocean, a tug boat display spraying water high into the air will continue to wake up the crowd on Sunday morning.

Geraldton Toyota Olympic and Sprint Triathlon
22 April | 7.00am-11.00am | St Georges Park

Many from all over the state will hit the Foreshore for Geraldton Triathlon Club’s Toyota Olympic and Sprint Triathlon on Sunday 22 April. With individual and team entries, if you’re not a keen triathlete then spectating will still give you a buzz.

Wow Fest will conclude with a bang – literally!  A vibrant and exciting fireworks display will light up the Geraldton sky at the conclusion of the concert and leaving everyone saying “WoW”.

We are excited to announce that Caitlin Cassidy from the West Australian Opera will be performing live at the Geraldton Regional Art Gallery.
