If anyone can get a crowd pumped at Geraldton’s newest festival it’s Aussie duo The Veronicas, and that’s exactly what they’ll do at next year’s Wind on Water Festival!!!

The Veronicas have been named as the headline act for Geraldton’s newest signature event, Wind on Water Festival (WoW Fest) which will take place in April 2018.

The performance is their first confirmed show in Western Australia for 2018.

Hosted by the City of Greater Geraldton, Mayor Shane Van Styn said the WoW Fest concert was primed to be massive.

“We will have a weekend jam-packed with activities and we will wrap it up with a concert featuring none other than one of Australia’s favourite bands – The Veronicas!” he said.

“Gero is going to be absolutely over the moon to hear the news that we have secured The Veronicas for a concert – not to mention the thousands of people who will travel from all around the state to attend.

“The City has had a real focus on bringing high-quality entertainment to the region and this is no exception.

“Get pumped Gero – you’re in for a real treat!!!”

WoW Fest will take place on the weekend of April 21 and 22 with the new event set to encompass everything Geraldton has to offer from perfect weather, water sports plus amazing family activities on our beautiful Foreshore.

The Festival will conclude with the concert on Sunday 22 April on the Geraldton Foreshore’s Multipurpose stage.

The concert will be a ticketed all ages event with supporting acts to be announced in the coming months.

WoW Festival is funded by the City of Greater Geraldton and the Federal Government’s Building Better Regions Fund - Community Investments Stream.

Details about ticket sales will be released next year. For more information on WoW Fest visit the City’s website at
