Where is Stow Gardens?

Stow Gardens is next to the Geraldton Multipurpose Centre on the Geraldton Foreshore! It’s also really close to the Geraldton Visitor Centre and Sail Inn.

How many days does WoW Fest go for?

Two! Easter Saturday and Sunday 11-12 April 2020. The music festival will take place on Saturday 11 April.

Where can I park?

Council carparks are free for the weekend.

Where is the nearest bus stop?

Right in front of the Geraldton Visitor Centre!

Will there be ATMs on-site?

No, however, individual stallholders may have EFTPOS facilities. The banks are close by, so you’ll be able to get cash out!

WOW Fest Bar on Saturday will have EFTPOS facilities.

Is the whole event ticketed?

No, WoW Fest is free but the WoW Fest Concert taking place on Saturday night is a ticketed event.

Alternatively, tickets may purchased in person from the following locations:

  4. Box office on the day

Where can I pick up my tickets from?

Tickets may only be collected from the Civic Centre or from the box office on the day.

Tickets can be mailed to you and the fee is $4.

Is there a limit on how many tickets I can buy?

There is no limit on how many tickets you can purchase.

What is the Concert Ticket Price:

First release = $75

On the gate = $90

There are no concession prices – keep an eye on the City’s Facebook page for exclusive deals for locals ;)

Do I have to buy Concert tickets for my child?

Yes, if they are over the age of 2.

What’s time do gates to the concert open?

The gates open at 4.00pm.

What can I bring into the concert?

  • Great vibes
  • Water but the lid must be sealed

What can I NOT bring into the concert?

  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Illicit drugs
  • Glass bottles and/or opened plastic drink containers
  • Sporting equipment, including but not limited to: bats, balls, racquets, clubs
  • Mobile structures such as tents, fold out tables and chairs, umbrellas
  • Inflatable items such as balloons, beach balls etc.
  • Musical or party instruments, including but not limited to: horns, whistles, drums, air horns, party poppers or any other instrument where the generated noise or fragments may harm, alarm or cause distress to another person
  • Any instrument that may resemble a weapon or imitation plastic weapon of any kind including but not limited to a sword, gun, hand grenade, hammer, shields, knives armour etc.
  • Any item that could pierce the skin or otherwise cause injury to another person including but not limited to sporting equipment
  • Any piece of clothing or item that could be considered a projectile and utilised to cause injury to another person
  • Any piece of clothing or items that incite either a political, activist or religious stance that could otherwise be considered offensive by another person
  • Any explosive or flammable item, including but not limited to: flares or fireworks
  • Lasers, laser pointers or any other light emitting device that may harm, alarm or cause distress to another person
  • Rollerblades, skateboards, scooters or bicycles
  • Animals other than guide or assistance dogs
  • A bad attitude

Can I buy tickets at the gate?

You certainly can, however we can’t guarantee the availability of tickets. The Box Office is open from 10.30am - 9pm on Saturday 11 April.

Is there disability access?

Of course! Please email or the events team on 08 9956 6927 to discuss any disability access requirements.

On the day please speak with one of volunteers at the gates if you require any assistance.

Do I need ID?

Yes, bring your photo ID as there is a licenced area within the concert grounds.

Is there a bar?

Yes, the concert grounds have a licenced area and a bar with a great selection of drinks and EFTPOS facility. Make sure you bring a photo ID as it is 18+. No ID, no entry to the licenced area!

Are under 18’s allowed in the bar area?

No, the bar area is for 18+ only.

Are there toilets inside the grounds? 

Yes, there are multiple public toilets as well as temporary toilets that will be available over the weekend.

Will there be food inside the concert grounds?

Yes, there will be a variety of food vendors available in the concert grounds.

Will there be vegetarian options?

Yes, some food vendors will have vegetarian options.

Are cameras allowed?

No, professional cameras including DSLR, mirrorless or any cameras with a detachable lens are not allowed. Audio recording devices or video cameras and camera tripods are also not allowed.

Will there be First Aid on site?

Yes, there will be first aid posts and a standby ambulance on site.

What if I lose my child/belongings?

All lost children will be escorted to information tent

All lost property will be handed to Information Tent and any unclaimed property after the event will be handed to police.

Can a lost ticket be replaced?

No. Lost tickets cannot be reprinted for this event.

Are there any camping sites in Geraldton?

There are some caravan parks in and around Geraldton which provide opportunity to rent camp sites. The festival grounds do not have designated camping area.
